Now my (Ola's) passport and future stay in Vietnam lies in the hands of Chloe and I'm 110 bucks lighter :) Exciting! I found her through a post on Hanoi Massive fb-group where she promised a cheap and painless process. Four hours later we met in downtown Hanoi. She was sitting outside a coffee shop, dressed in casual clothes, with a cigarette in one hand and her iphone in the other (hey, Vietnamese women don't smoke???). Super informal impression! I decided to trust her after she showed me three American passports that she just got back from the immigration office with approved visa extension stamps.
She said that she never had a customer asking as many questions as I did. Then she showed me an old receipt of a 30,000,000 VND payment and said that that customer didn't ask anything, just payed. Crazy people, I said, and we laughed.
I had some troubles getting my Visa in Sweden and there are some manual edits on it. This could cause some problem Chloe told me. She also told med that they had given me a version of Visa that expired by the ending of last year. Now I'm crossing my fingers that it will all work out. Otherwise I'm out!
